Director Ambrosio B. Alawas is a graduate of Master’s International
School of Divinity located at Evansville, Indiana, U.S.A. His
master’s study focuses on Christian Education- Interdisciplinary
studies.
He was a recipient of various scholarships. Some of these are from
Mashav of Israel and Haggai Institute of Maui Hawaii. He is also a
National Board member of the Boys Brigade Asia that has its
headquarters in Malaysia. Moreover, he is the Vice President for
The Brigade-Philippines.
He is the founder and director of the Star Educational Christian Foundation, where he serves the Lord together with his wife, Dr. Annabelle Marie Alawas, and daughters, Aprille and Kara Russanne who are both graduates of Canada Christian College, Toronto, ON, Canada.

Graduation day symbolizes one of the many milestones that we undergo in this life’s journey.
To the graduates, its is a step of preparing to take over responsibilities from your parents. From the first day of class in this school to the time you march to get your diploma, each one of you went through the process of preparing you for bigger challenges in the future.
To the parents, as you witness the fast growth of our children through the years, I believe it would be heart-warming to realize that little by little we can eventually start to pass the baton of responsibility to our children and to the generations to come.
Our school theme for this year… God will be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9) is a timely reminder for us that God can be with us forever, wherever.
The theme is the message of God to Joshua as he took over the leadership from Moses in leading the people of God to the Promised Land.
Likewise, graduates as you prepare yourselves to take over responsibilities from your parents, consider closely and carefully the instruction of God in Joshua 1:8-9 “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your Mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then, you will be prosperous and successful ...be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discourage for the Lord your God will be with you where ever you go.”
What a promise! Now together, we can boldly face the future, as we are confronted with the challenges of ASEAN 2015, Global changes and moral degradation, the promise is our fuel to overcome and make this place a better place all for the Glory of God.
