The club was launched as Estrella Teatro in 2010 with 20+ members by a SECF alumna and 3 club advisers. Initially, it was the school's theater group that not only developed the students' talents in acting, but also in singing, dancing, and stage production. 

The group introduced each theme of the month through the forms of skits, role plays, modelling shows, choir singing, and musicals. However due to practicality and to the changing landscape of technology, instead of producing stage presentations, Estrella Productions now produces videos.
